Johnathan is a natural teacher and I learned a lot from this class. I learned that my milk steaming method that I have been using is not as effective at making great foam as the one he taught me, and although I have had some trouble replicating it on my work machine, I HAVE learned the technique, so I am now able to take the fundamentals of this better technique and adapt to make better milk in general. The people at my work are amazed at how much progress I have made since I took this class! I have gone from basically unable to make latte art to being able to execute a very nice heart about 75% of the time. And as I say, that's considering that our machine is very high-pressure and the steaming method is different. Johnathan and I had a slight mixup about something and he was incredibly kind and professional about fixing it and addressing my concerns. He went above and beyond what I would've expected out of someone in that position and really impressed me with his professionalism - not everyone would've handled the confusion like he did and I was so grateful. So, if you are a beginner, or have a little experience like I did, or I assume if you are looking to perfect your expert skills, I totally recommend this class! He was able to identify something very precise that many other teachers wouldn't have noticed that made a huge difference and it was all very impressive. Johnathan is great. Highly recommend the class! Also, his coffee shop is for a good cause and it feels good to support a business that does good in the community. Not enough people choosing to do good in this world and Johnathan has devoted his career to helping others. That is so admirable.

Came to coffee TAB for Friday’s latte art class! I was the only student there and had a blast at the class. Both Jonathan and Mary were amazing teachers and I have imported my milk steaming quite a bit. The class was 90mins and I have poured close to 10 cups of latte. We’ve started with pulling a basic espresso shot then practice steaming milk and pour hearts! The video was Jonathan doing a demo.

Stopped by this shop for a coffee and they didn't disappoint! Mocha was both beautiful and delicious. Friendly staff, nice decor and vibin' music. I will definitely be back

Seattle local and coffee fan for a few years now. Having been to many a coffee shop in my day, this place serves a solid cup of coffee, and they also don't have tips, leading to the coffee price being quite reasonable for the quality you're getting. If you need a coffee would highly recommend!

We chose Coffee TAB simply because they were close to our hotel and opened before the other coffee shops. But we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious our lattes were. And their story is amazing. We will be back!

My partner and I took the latte art class here and had a great time! Jonathan is a great teacher and we were making hearts, tulips, and rosettas by the end. Would definitely recommend to anyone, as it's fun to learn, but great for espresso hobbyists and baristas in training. We'll be back for another class! I forgot to take photos during, but here are a few things we made afterward.

I have been patronizing this unique and delicious coffee shop since its inception. Now located in a super spacious space at the corner of Lenora and 2nd, I am excited for their growth but more so for their mission to help underserved students achieve a higher quality of life. The coffee is smooth, delicate and delicious served with grace! Baked goods top notch. Come try this Coffee with a Cause!

My family and I stopped in on our last morning in Seattle and I truly wish we would have found them on our first morning. Everything was a hit. Their caramel mocha is divine; not too sweet and still packed with flavor. My daughter loved their floral hot chocolate. Not only that, it was an absolute pleasure to talk with Johnathan about Coffee Tabs mission and a bit about how Coffee Tab came to be. Truly a wonderful experience and we will be making this our go to spot for future visits!
